Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

This policy applies to all VentureU International Business Retreat registrations. Please read it before purchasing.

1. In-person packages

All in-person registrations (Attend-Only, Private Room, and Private Room VIP), including the Retreat Plus-One add-on, are non-refundable once payment is made, regardless of when you cancel.

While registrations are not refundable, they are transferable:

• Transfer to another person. You may transfer your registration to another adult by emailing [email protected] with the new attendee’s full name, email, and phone number at least 14 days before the retreat begins. The new attendee must accept our Terms & Conditions.
• Transfer to a future VentureU retreat. You may instead apply the amount you paid toward a future VentureU retreat by notifying us in writing at least 14 days before the retreat begins. Transfers are subject to availability, may be used once, and any difference in price for the future event is your responsibility.

2. Virtual Access

Virtual Access ($599) is non-refundable once payment is made.

3. If VentureU cancels the event

If we cancel the retreat and do not reschedule it, you will receive a full refund of the amount you paid to VentureU for that retreat, issued to your original payment method within 30 days of the cancellation notice.

4. If VentureU reschedules the event

If we move the retreat to new dates or a new location, your registration automatically transfers to the rescheduled event. If you cannot attend the new dates, your payment will be issued as a credit toward a future VentureU retreat of equal value. Rescheduling does not entitle you to a cash refund.

5. Events beyond our control

If the retreat cannot proceed as planned because of events beyond our reasonable control — including natural disasters, severe weather, public-health orders, government travel restrictions, civil unrest, or similar circumstances — we may reschedule the event or change its format, and Section 4 applies.

6. Travel and third-party costs

VentureU is not responsible for airfare, independently booked lodging, travel insurance, or any other costs you incur, including if the event is canceled or rescheduled. We recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.

7. No-shows, late arrival, and early departure

No refunds or credits are issued for missed sessions, late arrival, early departure, or failure to attend, including if you are denied entry to Colombia or cannot travel for any personal reason.

8. Removal for conduct

Participants removed for conduct under our Terms & Conditions are not eligible for a refund or credit.
