This Privacy Policy explains how 4 Data Points Academy, Inc. (“4 Data Points Academy,” “VentureU,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our websites and registration pages, purchase a VentureU program, or communicate with us.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, mailing or billing address, business information, travel and arrival details, dietary or accessibility needs you choose to share, and any other information you submit in forms, questionnaires, or messages.

Payment information: payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We receive confirmation of your payment and limited details such as the last four digits of your card, but we do not store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically: when you use our pages, we and our partners collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links, using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

2. Cookies, pixels, and advertising

We use cookies and tracking technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to measure how our pages perform, understand which advertising brings visitors to us, and show relevant ads on other platforms. If you provide your phone number and consent, we may send text messages about your registration, event updates, and offers. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

5. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate our business, including with: service providers that host our pages, manage our customer records, send email and text messages, process payments, and run video sessions; event partners such as hotels, lodging providers, and transportation providers, limited to what they need to serve you; advertising and analytics partners as described in Section 2; and professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide our programs, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, opt out of texts by replying STOP, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We are based in the United States. Our programs take place in other countries, and your information may be processed in the United States and in the countries where events are held.
